Istanbul

We spent the weekend in Istanbul in Turkey. I got to practice my negotiation skills in the Grand Bazaar. We took a boat from Europe to Asia and we walked for miles exploring the sites. It is a very interesting city. Well worth a visit.

The Art of Coffee

A new coffee shop called the Art of Coffee has opened up in the tall glass building on the corner of Grand Canal Quay and Pearse Street in Dublin 2.

The owner is an award winning Barista and needless to say, the coffee is excellent. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. It's well worth a visit if you are in the area.

New York October 2005

Downtown NY:

This is a really, really great deli in downtown NY:

This is the lesser seen inside of the Statue of Liberty, it was interesting to see how it was made:

Now thats what I call an eat all you like buffet!

For some reason, they filled this water feature near the Trump Plaza with Cranberries - for a promotion I think. The guy standing in the water is either confused as to why the water is full of cranberries or is impersonating the statue in the foreground!

Budapest

We were in holidays in Budapest, Hungary recently. We really liked it and would highly recommend a visit (far better than Prague in my opinion).

Great wine cellar, I would like one like this in my house some day:
